Curated by Professor Cynthia Nourse Thompson, it features colorful, geometry-inspired works, a major site-specific installation by Jonathan VanDyke, and a residency and public lecture by artist Eliza Bentz. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday with no admission charge.
• Cobb Chamber Names KSU President Kathy Schwaig as its 2028 Board Chairwoman (metroatlantaceo.com) — Kennesaw residents will see a familiar local leader take on a bigger regional role: Kennesaw State University president Kathy "Kat" Schwaig has been named the Cobb Chamber's 2028 board chairwoman. Her long tenure guiding KSU's growth, research expansion, athletics move to Conference USA, and partnerships like the HatchBridge Incubator underscores how closely the university's success is tied to Kennesaw's economy and workforce.
• From TV shows, concerts, and movies, Dolly Parton was no stranger to metro Atlanta (wsbtv.com) — Kennesaw quietly shared the spotlight with Dolly Parton when her Netflix series "Heartstrings" filmed scenes around the city and other metro Atlanta locations. Following her death at 80, Georgia institutions and officials are remembering her concerts, film shoots, and the deep affection many Southerners felt for the Tennessee icon whose work often passed through our own backyard.
