• Marble Roller Coasters and North Cobb Regional Library (cobbcountycourier.com) — Families in Kennesaw can look forward to a full slate of September programs at North Cobb Regional Library, including a Marble Roller Coasters STEM night on September 10 and a tween Autumn Reads book club. The Kennesaw branch's calendar also features storytimes, craft meetups, GED prep, special‑needs meetups, sewing and gaming events, plus a horror book club and KSU family programs.
• Last Bahama Breeze in Georgia runs out of food, closes for good (wsbtv.com) — Kennesaw diners just saw the state's last Bahama Breeze close a day early after crowds emptied the kitchen, but the spot won't stay dark for long. Darden plans to reopen the location as a Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen on September 23, keeping a major restaurant presence at the same Kennesaw site.
• Town Center Community's 2026 State of the District (macon.com) — Town Center Community will host its 2026 State of the District meeting in Kennesaw on October 27 at the Governor's Gun Club, offering residents and stakeholders a look at major mobility, public space, and placemaking projects. Attendees will also preview the Town Center 30‑Year Master Plan Vision and hear from planning experts about preparing the area for future growth.
