The statewide roundup also highlights concerts, theater, festivals, and family events across Georgia between September 7 and 13, giving locals plenty of options for planning outings.
• Student housing investors bet on fewer universities (costar.com) — A major new student housing complex, The Standard at Kennesaw, is being developed less than a mile from Kennesaw State University, adding 656 beds by the 2028-29 academic year. Developers say record KSU enrollment and limited recent construction have created a housing imbalance, meaning more apartments and amenities are on the way for students and nearby residents.
• Volleyball completes opening weekend with 3-0 sweep of Alabama A&M (theksusentinel.com) — Kennesaw State volleyball fans can celebrate a strong home-opening weekend, as the Owls swept Alabama A&M to improve to 5-1 and showcase several standout young players. The team's momentum now carries into the South Alabama Invitational, giving Kennesaw supporters plenty to watch as this promising season unfolds.
