• Cobb County Issues 38 New Business Licenses Sept. 6-13 (cobbcountycourier.com) — Cobb County has approved 38 new business licenses this week, including several right in Kennesaw such as new restaurants, retail shops, beauty services, arts and crafts, and apartment rentals. For Kennesaw residents, that means more dining, shopping, and service options coming soon in neighborhoods around Cobb Place, Barrett Parkway, and local residential streets.
• Field of Flags marks 25 years since 9/11 at Kennesaw Mountain (cbsnews.com) — Thousands of American flags now cover Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, each honoring a life lost in the Sept. 11 attacks, and the display will remain through Sept. 19. Local volunteers, first responders, and families from around Kennesaw and Marietta joined together to plant the flags, using the memorial to teach younger generations about sacrifice, history, and community unity.
