Lawrenceville Man Dies Following Car Crash Sunday

A man died from a car crash Sunday in the city of Lawrenceville.

According to Sgt. C.D. Ralston of the Lawrenceville Police Deparment's Special Operations Division, 21-year-old Lawrenceville resident Sabrija Alic was driving  on Springlake Road near Saddle Shoals Drive around 4:15 p.m.

His black Honda was traveling west when he lost control of the car. The vehicle left the roadway and drove into several trees. Alic was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center where he died from his injuries.

No further details are available at this time, according to police. The incident is currently under investigation by the department's accident investigation unit.
