Inspectors cited issues like improper food storage, thawing practices, labeling, and employee item placement, and warned that repeat or uncorrected violations could lead to permit suspension.

β’ Gwinnett County police searching for missing Lilburn 16-year-old last seen over a week ago (cbsnews.com) β Police are urgently searching for 16-year-old Adah George, who left her home on Hewatt Road in Lilburn on Aug. 19 saying she was headed to Stone Mountain and hasn't been seen since. Her phone last pinged near Stonecrest in DeKalb County, and officials say health concerns make finding her critical; anyone with information is asked to call Gwinnett County Police.

β’ Everton Blair Is South's First Black Gay Congressman (metroweekly.com) β Lilburn residents may soon be represented in Congress by State Rep. Jasmine Clark, who is favored to win a full term in Georgia's 13th District this November. In the meantime, former Gwinnett school board chair Everton Blair Jr. has won the special election to finish the late Rep. David Scott's term, becoming the South's first openly gay Black member of Congress.
