• Man accused in Gwinnett hit-and-run that left 1 dead, 1 injured (fox5atlanta.com) — A deadly hit-and-run on Killian Hill Road in Lilburn left one pedestrian dead and another seriously injured as they worked around a disabled vehicle early Sunday. Gwinnett County police say Flock camera data led them to a suspect in Lilburn, who now faces vehicular homicide, serious injury by vehicle, and multiple hit-and-run charges while the investigation continues.
   

• Neighbors evaluate solutions to dangerous railroad crossings (wsbtv.com) — Lilburn neighbors are pressing Gwinnett County to fix the rough and crash-prone CSX railroad crossing on Arcado Road, where 13,000 cars pass daily. At a meeting in Lilburn City Hall, officials outlined bridge options, but funding isn't secured and construction could still be years away, leaving residents worried about safety and vehicle damage in the meantime.
