The victim's Loganville family describes years of grief and says the arrest brings hope for long-awaited justice in a Gwinnett County courtroom.
• Obituary and funeral service: Yvonne Marie 'Aldridge' Russell, 96, of Loganville (monroelocal.org) — Loganville is mourning Yvonne Marie Russell, 96, who passed away June 26 and whose memorial service is set for Saturday, August 29, in Lawrenceville. A longtime Gwinnett County resident, artist, and church member, she leaves behind children in Loganville and Lawrenceville, grandchildren including several in Loganville, and many extended family members and friends.
