• Loganville city manager search contact given to Athens-based Mercer Group Associates (monroelocal.org) — Loganville's city council has hired Athens-based Mercer Group Associates to lead the search for a new city manager to replace longtime official Danny Roberts when his contract ends early next year. The firm will be paid up to $22,900 and expects to present a qualified candidate within 90 days, shaping who will oversee key city services and daily operations.
   

• FERVENCE reveal music video for "Ascension" (lambgoat.com) — Metalcore band Fervence is heading to Loganville on October 18 as part of its tour supporting the new album "Constructs," due out October 16. The group just released a chaotic new single, "Ascension," with a music video, giving Loganville fans a preview before they hit the Atmosphere stage next month.
