• Macon Mayor Lester Miller isn't laughing at 'king of the city' T-shirt (macon.com) — Macon Mayor Lester Miller is objecting to a downtown Poplar Street shop's T‑shirt that shows him wearing a crown and uses his trademarked slogan, "Thanks Lester." Designer Terrence Gordon says only two shirts sold and he'd have reconsidered charging if he'd known about the trademark, and may tweak the design to avoid legal trouble.
• Sheriff: 11 teens injured in mass shooting at Macon, Ga., skatepark (upi.com) — Eleven teenagers were wounded in an overnight shootout between two groups at the Carolyn Crayton Park skatepark in Macon, with two victims in critical but stable condition. Bibb County Sheriff David Davis says teens from several local high schools were involved and urges anyone with information to contact the sheriff's office or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers.
• 12 teens, young adults shot after dispute at Georgia park gathering turns violent (komonews.com) — Twelve teens and young adults were shot during a late-night gathering at Carolyn Crayton Park in Macon, with two victims in critical but stable condition and the rest stable. Sheriff David Davis and Mayor Lester Miller stressed community vigilance, prayer, and accountability for adults who allow youth access to guns. Investigators are still seeking suspects and urge anyone with information to contact the Bibb County Sheriff's Office or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers.
