• Pilot airlifted after plane crash on Dixie Highway in Morgan County (fox5atlanta.com) — A biplane crashed in a field near Dixie Highway in Madison Tuesday afternoon, seriously injuring the pilot and knocking down power lines as it approached Madison Airport. Morgan County deputies, emergency crews, and the FAA are investigating, and while the road has reopened, drivers are urged to be cautious around ongoing utility repairs and remaining responders at the scene.
