MARIETTA, GA — A person was injured in a road-rage shooting incident that began in Marietta but ended in Roswell Wednesday, Cobb County Police said.
Officers received reports of the shooting around 11:15 a.m.
A driver fired multiple shots at another vehicle in apparent road rage at Woodstock Road near its intersection with Mabry Road, police said.
Both vehicles continued traveling north through the intersection near the Cobb-Roswell line.
The person who was shot stopped in Roswell city limits, where police said first responders rendered medical aid.
Police said the person was taken to a local hospital. A status on their condition was not immediately known.
The shooting suspect was not identified.
