Convicted Killer's Last Meal Revealed Ahead Of GA Execution

Stacey Humphreys is set to be the 55th inmate put to death by lethal injection in GA after he was convicted of killing two women in Cobb.

JACKSON, GA —Georgia authorities on Wednesday revealed the last meal request of an inmate who was convicted of fatally shooting two real estate agents and was sentenced to death.

The execution of Stacy Humphreys is scheduled for 7 p.m., Sept. 16, at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.

He is set to be the 55th inmate put to death by lethal injection in Georgia, the DOC said.

For his final meal, Humphreys has requested the following: barbecue beef brisket, pork ribs, bacon double cheeseburger, french fries, buffalo wings, meat lovers pan pizza, butter pecan ice cream, peach ice cream and two caffeine-free sodas.

This comes after the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles suspended the execution in December 2025 to consider Humphreys' clemency application.

The Cobb County Superior Court recently ordered the execution of Humphreys be carried out between Sept. 16 and Sept. 23, the DOC said.

Humphreys was convicted of killing real estate agents Cindy Williams and Lori Brown nearly 23 years ago.

The women were forced to undress, give Humphreys the PINs to their ATM cards and were shot to death around 12:45 p.m., Nov. 3, 2003 in a model home in Cobb County, Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr said in the past.

Two days after the deadly shootings, Humphreys deposited $1,000 into his account; but at the time of his arrest, he had about $800 in cash on him.

He told police that he did not remember his past actions; but Carr said when asked why he fled, Humphreys told officers, "I know I did it. I know it just as well as I know my own name."

Since the reinstatement of Georgia's death penalty in 1976, the DOC said 76 men and one woman have been executed. More than 30 men and one woman are currently on death row in Georgia.
