Imminence Announce 'Axis Mundi' Film Screenings (theprp.com) — Fans in Marietta can catch Imminence's Axis Mundi film-and-album experience at the SM Marietta theater on September 29, just days before the record's October 2 release. The one-night event includes the full cinematic saga, unheard tracks, and a 20-minute behind-the-scenes feature on the album's creation.
5. National Muslim Voter Registration Day: What's motivating Georgia's Muslim voters ahead of the election? (cbsnews.com) — Muslim residents gathered at the West Cobb Islamic Center in Marietta to register and check their voter status as part of National Muslim Voter Registration Day. Organizers say local Muslims care about affordability, housing, education, health care, safety, and foreign policy issues like conflicts in Iran and Palestine, and they're focused on simply getting more Marietta-area Muslims to the polls this November.
