Cobb school board approves contracts for high schools renovations (ledger-enquirer.com) — Major school upgrades funded by Cobb's E-SPLOST will affect several nearby campuses, with decisions made at a board meeting in Marietta. Renovations at Kennesaw Mountain and Pebblebrook high schools and new grandstands at Campbell High are part of millions in contracts, plus additional work at several elementary schools and a district warehouse, all scheduled through 2028.

Imminence Teams with Sumerian Pictures for Film (knotfest.com) — Metal band Imminence is premiering a film tied to its new album Axis Mundi, with a U.S. screening set for September 29 at SM Marietta in the Atlanta area. Local fans can catch the story-driven movie before the album's October 2 release, featuring both album tracks and previously unheard music.
