Bank Robber Arrested The Next Day After Fleeing On Foot With Cash

Police have arrested the bank robber who demanded money from a Wells Fargo Friday morning in Cobb County.

COBB COUNTY, GA — A man who robbed a bank Friday morning has been arrested, said Cobb County police. Kenyatta Ashley, 45, has been charged with Robbery. He was arrested and transported to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.

Ashley robbed the Wells Fargo bank located at 5010 Floyd Road around 10 a.m. before fleeing the scene on foot. According to police, he entered the bank and presented a demand note asking for currency. An undisclosed amount of cash was given to the suspect.
