Cobb Man, Woman Robbed 3 Stores With Gun: Police

The robberies happened this week, Cobb County Police said, and the couple were arrested outside metro Atlanta.

AUSTELL, GA — A man and a woman from Cobb County are under arrest and charged with a string of armed robberies at local stores.

Lashumbia Session, 38, of Marietta, and Mykia Wilson, 37, of Kennesaw, were arrested "well outside metro Atlanta," according to Cobb County Police. They are accused of using a handgun to rob a QuickTrip, a Family Dollar store and a pharmacy this week.

On Monday, a man and woman approached a clerk at the Family Dollar at 2051 Austell Rd., according to police. The man had a handgun and they demanded money from the store's register and safe. The clerk gave money to the woman and the couple ran away.

Session and Wilson also are charged with robberies that happened Sunday at the QuikTrip at 1350 S. Cobb Dr. and Wednesday at Reliable Pharmacy, at 3999 Austell Rd.

Police spokesman Sgt. Wayne Delk said a Cobb officer identified a suspect and reached out to community members with a description, which resulted in enough information to identify Session and Wilson. Delk said police are continuing to investigate and that the two may be charged in more crimes.
