Cobb Police Officer Struck By Vehicle

MARIETTA, GA -- A Cobb County police officer suffered a head injury after being struck by another car during a traffic stop.

The incident happened overnight at the intersection of Barrett Parkway and Macland Road, reports Fox 5 Atlanta.

Police said the driver tried to go around the officer’s car, but struck the patrol car and the officer instead.

The officer is expected to recover.
