Driver Turns Himself In At Cobb County Adult Detention Center
Marlon Pollock was charged with Reckless Driving and Serious Injury by Vehicle after an Aug. 19 Cobb County car accident.
COBB COUNTY, GA —Marlon Pollock, the 41-year-old charged with Reckless Driving and Serious Injury by Vehicle in August turned himself to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center Monday, according to authorities.
An arrest warrant was obtained from the Cobb County Magistrate’s Office Nov. 25.
Distracted driving is a contributing factor to this collision. Bobby L. Miller, 62, is still at Kennestone Hospital with serious injuries to include quadriplegia.

The car accident happened Monday, Aug. 19 close to 2 p.m. on Austell Road near Favor Road. The Cobb County Police Department Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Unit began investigating.
Investigators learned that a white 2017 Chevrolet Sonic was traveling east on Austell Road in the left travel lane. Pollock's Chevrolet collided into the rear of the Moped as it was slowing down to enter the left turn lane. Miller was ejected from the Moped.
