Fidelity Bank Robbed In Marietta

Cobb County Police are searching for a man who robbed Fidelity Bank in Marietta.

MARIETTA, GA — Cobb County Police are searching for a man who robbed a Fidelity Bank in Marietta Thursday morning. The robbery was reported at 11:23 a.m. at the bank, 833 South Cobb Drive in Marietta. No injuries were reported in the hold-up.

Detectives say man entered Fidelity Bank and gave a note to one of the tellers demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash from the employee, the robber fled across the street to a white van, which drove southbound on South Cobb Drive.

Police describe the suspect as a black man, 6-feet tall, clean shaven with tattoos on his hands and neck. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve burgundy shirt and blue jeans. He was also wearing sunglasses and a black hat.
