MARIETTA – On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, the Marietta Fire Department will hold a Neighborhood Smoke Alarm and Safety Blitz in the area of Evelyn and Hope Streets from 6pm – 8pm.

As part of this initiative, Marietta firefighters will go door to door to install free smoke alarms in the area of Evelyn and Hope Streets. Additionally, the Marietta Fire Department will be able to inspect and test the current smoke alarms you may have, install carbon monoxide alarms where applicable, and offer other home safety advice.
