Marietta Fire Department to Hold Neighborhood Blitz on Wednesday, October 2nd

MARIETTA – On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, the Marietta Fire Department will hold a Neighborhood Smoke Alarm and Safety Blitz in the area of Allgood Manor from 6pm – 8pm.

As part of this initiative, Marietta firefighters will go door to door to install free smoke alarms in the neighborhood of Allgood Manor which includes homes on Tom Read Drive, Seminole Place, and Bothwell Place. Additionally, the Marietta Fire Department will be able to inspect and test the current smoke alarms you may have, install carbon monoxide alarms where applicable, and offer other home safety advice.
