Marietta Woman Hit By Truck Outside Apartment Complex
Diana A. Ramone of Marietta was struck by a vehicle Wednesday while walking outside of Sedona Falls apartment complex.

COBB COUNTY, GA — Cobb County Police are investigating an accident where a woman was hit by a driver Wednesday morning at the entrance of the Sedona Falls apartment complex, 1717 Waterfall Village Drive.
The department’s Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Unit is looking into what happened. Investigators so far have determined that 35-year-old Diana A. Ramone of Marietta was walking west on the northern sidewalk of Terrell Mill Road when she crossed the apartment complex’s entrance at the crosswalk.
A blue 2016 Mack MRU600 garbage truck, owned by American Disposal Services, was traveling east on Terrell Mill Road. The driver of the Mack was identified as 45-year-old Charles L. Strong of Lithia Springs. Strong made a left turn into the apartment complex and collided with Ramone.
She was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Strong wasn’t injured.
