Cobb County Fire Chief Randy Crider says <a href="http://mdjonline.com/view/full_story/27043589/article-New-fire-station-planned-for-northwest-Cobb?instance=home_lead_story" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">a new fire station on Mars Hill Road</a> should be up and running by the end of 2016.The $3-million facility will replace Fire Station No. 18 which was built back in the 1970s, reports the Marietta Daily Journal.The new station, near the Brookstone subdivision. is being funded by the county's fire fund tax digest.
