Police Investigating Fatal Crash at South Cobb and Booth Road
An Acworth man was killed and several others were injured in the Saturday morning crash.

MARIETTA, GA — Police are continuing to investigate a Saturday morning crash that left one person dead and several others injured.
The accident happened shortly after 2 am at the South Cobb Drive and Booth Road intersection.
According to police, a maroon Honda Civic was traveling east on Booth Road and turning left onto South Cobb Drive. A white Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling south on South Cobb Drive approaching the intersection, when the Honda's driver turned left in front of the Chevrolet, causing a collision.

The Honda's driver was James Butler, 24, of Acworth. He was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital he later died.
Shawna Conyers, 23, of Norwich, CT, was a passenger in the Honda. She was also taken to Wellstar with life-threatening injuries.
