Police Searching for Second Vehicle in Hit and Run

MARIETTA, GA -- Police are searching for a second vehicle that was involved in a Tuesday morning pedestrian fatality at South Cobb Drive and Walthall Avenue.

Police say 75-year-old Reginald Cumming of Marietta was hit by a green 2004 GMC pickup while crossing South Cobb and outside of any pedestrian crosswalk.

Within moments of being hit, Cumming was hit by another vehicle -- this one, a white sedan -- whose driver failed to stop and was last seen heading north on South Cobb.

Police say they do not expect to file charges in the case but are asking with information to call (770) 499-3987.
