Seminar on Teens and Georgia Law to be Held in Cumming Next Week

A former prosecutor will explain how teens are treated under the law and what rights youngsters have in Georgia.

West Forsyth High School’s Parent Teacher Organization will host an information session discussing teenagers and Georgia law next week, Cumming Local reports.

J. Tom Morgan, a former prosecutor, will be sharing advice from his latest book “Ignorance is No Defense: A Teenager’s Guide to Georgia Law” at the school on Drew Street in Cumming on Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. The book explains how teenagers are treated under state laws and enumerates the rights that teenagers have.

Copies of his book will be available for purchase for $15, Cumming Local says.
