Woman Indicted in Cobb Teacher's Murder
Elizabeth Wall is facing murder charges in the shooting death of Jenna Wall, her daughter-in-law and popular Cobb teacher.

MARIETTA, GA — The mother-in-law of a popular Cobb County teacher was indicted late last week on murder and several other charges.
Elizabeth Brown Wall is accused of killing Jenna Wall, her daughter-in-law, this past June.
Elizabeth Wall is also facing aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony charges, and two counts of cruelty to children in the third degree, according to the Cobb County DA's office.

No arraignment date has been set.
In a case that continues to draw national media attention, Elizabeth Wall allegedly drove to Jenna Wall's Powder Springs home; gathered her two grandchildren, ages 7 and 8 and put them in her car; and then went back inside the house and shot the woman.

When police arrived, they found Elizabeth Wall inside the home and took her into custody.
Jenna Wall was a lifelong resident of Cobb County. She was a 1998 honors graduate from Harrison High School. She graduated in 2002 from UGA with honors and attended Mercer University to obtain her teaching certificate in Elementary and Special Education.
Her first career was with Enterprise where she managed a branch and then went into corporate sales. She became a teacher in 2010, teaching 5th and 4th grades, and finally felt settled on teaching kindergarten at Kemp Elementary.
