A workshop that allows parents or caregivers to team up with kids aged 6-12 for an introduction to designing in 3D space. A MODA Instructor will guide families through the process of creating an object before printing it out on a Makerbot© Replicator© 2 Desktop 3D Printer. Using an easy-to-use 3D design software, they’ll learn how to manipulate basic shapes, symbols and texts. Families will leave the class with a basic knowledge of 3D design. Due to print times, items will be ready for pick-up within a few days.
$40 (for 2 family members) includes museum admission.
