9th Annual Sunday Supper South Is This Weekend At Ponce City
The dinner features dishes from more than 20 world-renowned southern chefs.

ATLANTA, GA -- The 9th Annual Sunday Supper South, the charity dinner held to raise funds for the James Beard Foundation’s Impact Programs, is this Sunday, October 28 at Ponce City Market. Created to embrace the simple cooking philosophy and inspired flavors of the South, Sunday Supper South is hosted by Anne Quatrano, Atlanta chef and owner of Bacchanalia, Star Provisions Market & Cafe, Little Star Provisions, W.H. Stiles Fish Camp and Floataway Cafe.
This year, the event will feature a “Bewitched” theme and honor the whole hog cuisine of Rodney Scott, a 2018 James Beard Foundation Award and pitmaster from Hemingway, SC. Guests will gather around communal tables on the second floor of Ponce City Market’s Central Food Hall to share a family-style dinner highlighting the creative talents and artisan producers from the South, with participating James Beard Award winners, nominees and semi-finalists from across the region collaborating on the menu.
Desserts will be provided by Five Daughters Bakery, Honeysuckle Gelato, Little Tart Bakeshop and Carla Tomasko of Bacchanalia. A tarot card reader, Ouiji Boards and other vintage games will invite guests to experience the lighthearted mysticism of the evening.
