NFL Player Marcus Stroud’s Charitable Foundation and Tiger Greene of Team Tiger to Host “Casino Royale - Sacking Obesity” Gala on Friday, April 15 at Ritz Carlton-Atlanta
On Friday, April 15, 2011 NFL Player Marcus Stroud’s Charitable Foundation and Tiger Greene of Team Tiger will host “Casino Royale: Sacking Childhood Obesity” Gala at the Ritz Carlton-Atlanta. This is the 2nd annual Foundation Gala hosted by Atlanta resident and NFL’s Marcus Stroud, #99, a defensive tackle with the Super Bowl Champions, New England Patriots. Gala attendees will enjoy a fun-filled evening with heavy hors d’oeuvres, signature Casino Royale cocktails and live entertainment by double-platinum, award-winning recording artist, Kelly Price, a contemporary R & B singer/songwriter whose new album, Kelly, that features the spirited single, “Tired.” produced by Shep Crawford and inspired by a creative heart-to-heart she shared with fellow musician and past collaborator, R. Kelly. A silent auction caps off the night featuring sports and celebrity-endorsed memorabilia, trips and luxury items.
The Marcus Stroud Charitable Foundation’s purpose is to foster support by enriching the lives of under-privileged children by establishing academic and athletic programs otherwise unavailable to them. For this year’s Gala, Marcus has partnered with nonprofit organization, Team Tiger, founded by Alpharetta teen, Tiger Greene, to raise awareness and funds in the fight against childhood obesity.
Tickets for V.I.P. Admission are $175 include a private meet & greet, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and autographed take-away. General Admission tickets are $125 and include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment and a silent and live auction.
