Unexplored and isolated states Seven Sisters of North East India

Seven sisters are named after seven consecutive waterfalls. These waterfalls are the most exotic and beautiful in whole world. These are in the North East states of India. Tourism is not so flourished and popular in North India, because of lack of modern touch and knowledge. The Sates of North East India are wonder land. It is full of dense forests and jungles. These forests and jungles are not an easy task to explore because of tribal people. In short we can state or said that North East India is tribal land. Majority of tribal people are more than normal people who are influenced with modern life and habitat as others. These tribal people are strict follower of their own made custom and rituals.

          This amazing part of India, when explored then it will astonish you with many facts. People who live on high hilly area or valleys don’t have any modern amenity like television also. These are still lacking back with many modern touch. Son high hilly area of North east even good and classy resorts is also hard to find. But these lands look like a great scenario of nature. This area is a perfect gateway to serene natural beauty and land of clouds. It is very spectacular to walk through the clouds and experience every cool drop of drizzling rainfall.

          Seven Sisters of India are the famous unison of waterfalls of seven different states lying in North East. These seven continuous states stepping gradually on high hills are:-

  • Assam
  • Arunachal Pradesh
  • Manipur
  • Meghalaya
  • Mizoram
  • Nagaland
  • Tripura

Assam: it is located on plain land or foot hills. It is the only destination from where this high hill destination could be reached. It has very famous tea garden and is Tea state of India.

Arunachal Pradesh: it is known as Land of Rising Sun. it is full of enchanting greenery and valley. It also has a national park in the valleys having deep dense forest.

Manipur: it is top hilly region and is full of tribal people. Airport is available and road communications are the only mean to reach here.

Meghalaya: it is very cold and remains cold throughout the year. No refrigerators are found here for cooling or storing things, water and temperature is enough for storing and cooling. Every year this state records highest rainfall and is known as land of clouds.

Mizoram: this state is above Meghalaya on the hilly area. It also carries lots of tribal people. Its folk dance and culture is very unique than any other in India.

Nagaland: It is located on the highest mountain peak of India. It is full of enchanting greenery and valleys. People are dressed up in their traditional ethnic clothing every day.

Tripura: it is the land of only tribal people. Here houses and cottages are made up of wood having a single storied only.
