Answers Sought in Death of Atlanta Man
The 53-year-old's family suspects he was hit by a car, but police say they don't have enough evidence to determine a cause of death.

The family of a man who was found dead in downtown Atlanta in October of last year wants to know what caused his death.
Michael Fannin, 53, was found dead near the Sam Nunn Federal Building on Oct. 15, 2014. The person who found Fannin’s body thought he had been hit by a car, a medical examiner’s report acquired by WSB-TV says, but Atlanta police don’t have enough evidence to confirm or deny the theory.
Nine days later, a series of miscommunications led Fannin’s family to file a missing persons report on his behalf because nobody had informed them of his fate. They only learned that Fannin was dead after a direct call to the medical examiner, WSB-TV says.
