Armored Car Robbery: Photos Released, Reward Offered

A Dunbar armored courier was robbed on Saturday. A reward of up to $20,000 has been offered for information in the investigation.

ATLANTA, GA -- The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 regarding the investigation into this past Saturday’s armed robbery of a Dunbar Armored courier in Atlanta.

On May 14, around 8:40 a.m., the armored courier was robbed at 1352 Lakewood Avenue, just after that courier had completed servicing a nearby check cashing business.

The robbers were two black males, armed with semi-automatic handguns, described as being 25-35 years of age, 5’7” to 5’10” in height, with average builds. One robber was wearing a blue/black and white striped hooded sweatshirt. The other robber was wearing a baseball cap, blue jeans and had a beard. Both robbers were observed wearing orange construction vests.
