Arrest Made in Midtown Carjacking

A Newnan teenager was killed in the December crime.

ATLANTA, GA -- Police have arrested a man in connection with a December Midtown carjacking that left a Newnan teenager dead.

Tellisavoris Demon Floyd, 18, is facing armed robbery and murder charges, according to the Newnan Times Herald.

Sean Michael Turner of Newnan and a friend were in Atlanta when they ran into the brother of one of their friends. According to the Atlanta police report, they asked the man if he could help them get some drugs.

Two other men then got into Turner’s car, and told Turner to drive, while their friend’s brother followed in another car. When they arrived at the 9th Street and Charles Allen Drive intersection, the men pulled out handguns and ordered Turner and his friend out of the car.

Turner then ran after his car when the suspects got stuck in traffic on 8th Street. When he reached the car, the suspects shot him. Turner died the next day.
