Arrest Made in Recording Studio Murder
Christopher Ballard turned himself in to police on Thursday. Police say they have probable cause to charge him with the July murder.

Atlanta Police have a suspect in custody for the murder of a 22-year-old man inside an Atlanta recording studio.
WSB-TV reports that Christopher Alante Ballard, 22, turned himself in at the Fulton County Adult Detention Center on Thursday. Jail records show that Ballard has been charged with the murder of Anthony Hill at a recording studio on Lakewood Avenue just after 2 a.m. on July 12. Hill was discovered with a single gunshot wound in his head and was declared dead at the scene.
Examiner reported at the time of the incident that roughly 12 people witnessed the murder, and two of those witnesses were taken in for further questioning by Atlanta police.

Now, police believe they have enough evidence to charge Ballard with Hill’s murder. They do not believe the murder was a random act of violence.
