Artic Blast Heading Toward Metro Atlanta

METRO ATLANTA, GA -- The coldest air of the winter season thus far is heading to metro Atlanta to kick off the week.

Temperatures will drop into the 20s overnight Sunday and into Monday morning, according to Accuweather, up to 10 degrees below average for this time of year.

Highs on Monday and Tuesday may reach only into the 30s, despite clear skies.

No precipitation is forecast, but winds will make the temperatures feel much colder, reports Channel 2 Action News and the AJC.
