The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership Hosted the 5th Annual Atlanta BeltLine Eastside 10K

5th Annual Atlanta BeltLine Eastside 10K attracts more than 800 registrants

The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership hosted the 5th Annual Atlanta BeltLine Eastside 10K on Saturday, December 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., attracting more than 800 registrants. Starting the day’s festivities at Stoveworks on Krog Street, participants of all fitness levels ran and walked through the Eastside Trail, winding through neighborhoods such as Inman Park, Midtown, Old Fourth Ward, Poncey-Highland and Virginia Highland, as well as Piedmont Park and various off-road paths. The morning began with Athens-based singer-songwriter DeJoire Hall singing the National Anthem and provided fun for all ages, including a special appearance from Finn and Jake of Cartoon Network’s “Adventure Time”. After the race, registrants over 21 years of age enjoyed the beautiful day in Atlanta with a complimentary beer courtesy of Terrapin Beer Co.

Proceeds from the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside 10K benefit the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, the nonprofit organization that helps keep the Atlanta BeltLine vision on track by enabling the construction of parks and trails; engaging the public through tours, health and fitness programs, and special events; and empowering Atlanta BeltLine residents to connect with jobs, housing, and better health.
