According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Christopher Todd Maddox was arrested by Gwinnett County police and charged with public indecency on April 8 after he allegedly propositioned and exposed himself to a movie theater employee in unincorporated Stone Mountain on March 25.

Maddox has been on paid administrative leave from the department since September, when an investigation began into allegations that he left his children in deplorable conditions and used drugs.

Police responded to Maddox’s apartment on Sept. 4, responding to a complaint made by Maddox’s mother in law. When officers arrived at the apartment off Hollywood Road, they allegedly found Maddox’s two young children living in filth.

A police report obtained by WSB-TV said that Maddox’s apartment was littered with dirty laundry and human waste was smeared into the carpet, walls, and windows. The report added that officers discovered several ”dime bags” containing white residue in various parts of the apartment.

Maddox passed a drug test back in September, WSB-TV reported, but he is off-duty until the investigation is complete.
