Atlanta Dogwood Festival Hosts Backyard Barbecue & Brews

Barbecue, Beer and Great Spring Weather at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival

After the success of a sold-out event last year, the 79th Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival welcomes back the onsite tasting event Backyard Barbecue & Brews next month. Held on Saturday and Sunday afternoons during the festival in a spacious tent overlooking the Coca-Cola Main Stage, this event is certain to fill to capacity again because festival attendees loved getting this special taste of the South!

WHAT Backyard Barbecue & Brews VIP Experience

This all-inclusive outdoor tasting event takes place in a spacious tented area overlooking the Coca-Cola Main Stage. Backyard Barbecue & Brews showcases local craft beers, wine and barbecue and picnic fare from some of the city’s favorite restaurants and chefs. Guests will enjoy picnic-style seating, activities like corn hole and access to private bathrooms.

Participating restaurants include: 3 Brothers BBQ, Bone Link BBQ, Chamberlain’s Chocolate Factory, DNJ Sweet Treats, Eclipse di Luna, HOBNOB, JD’s BBQ and Catering, Jim ‘N Nicks Bar-B-Q, Loca Luna, The Melting Pot, Minas Grill, Morelli’s Ice Cream, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Ocean Market Downtown, The Pig & the Pearl, Saltyard, Sawicki’s, Sticky Bones BBQ, Sweet Auburn Seafood, Tin Lizzy’s, Twin Smokers BBQ and Whole Foods Market Cooking.

Breweries sampling at Backyard Barbecue & Brews are: Corona Light, Eventide, Gordon Biersch, Jailhouse Brewing Company, Modelo Especial, Red Brick Brewing Co., Starr Hill, Straight to Ale, SweetWater Brewing Company, Victoria, Wild Heaven Craft Beer and Woodchuck Hard Cider.
