Atlanta Immigration Attorney Arraigned on More Fraud, Witness Tampering, Alien Harboring Charges
Prosecutors say the attorney induced aliens to reside illegally in the United States and filled out falsified visa info for personal gain.

An Atlanta immigration lawyer has heard new federal charges filed against her regarding accusations that she encouraged people to live in the country illegally for her own gain, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday.
Bonnie Monique Youn, 45, was already facing charges on a Jan. 27 superseding indictment, was arraigned on charges of two new counts of visa fraud, two new counts of alien harboring, and two new counts of witness tampering on Wednesday.
Prosecutors say that Youn used her position as an immigration lawyer to induced three aliens to live in the United States illegally for her own personal gain. Youn also stands accused of knowingly filling out visas with false information and telling aliens to lie to federal agents who were investigating her.

Youn has been out of jail on a $25,000 bond and has surrendered her passport. She is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
