An Atlanta man has won a Georgia Lottery promotional game and will take home a cash prize of just over $12,000.
According to the Georgia Lottery, Edward Sons, 33, won the most recent Play It Again Reloaded Second Chance Promotion and was awarded the chance to spin the wheel and win anywhere from $5,000 to $1 million in cold hard cash. Sons won $12,500.

“It’s awesome! It’s the largest prize I’ve won,” said Sons, who heard about the lottery’s promotion while listening to the radio. He used non-winning Powerball and Mega Millions tickets to enter the contest, according to the Georgia Lottery.
Sons will use the money to pay off bills and do some traveling, the Georgia Lottery said.
