Atlanta News: Inman Park Residents Concerned About Car Break-Ins

Over a dozen vehicles were broken into on Monday morning at a parking lot near the park.

Atlanta police are investigating a rash of car break-ins which occurred near Inman Park on Monday morning.

According to WSB-TV, police discovered approximately 16 cars had been broken into at a residential parking lot on North Highland Avenue. The break-ins were not an isolated incident; police added that several such sprees had been reported on Sunday night and Monday morning.

Police will step up patrols in the affected areas, and are also reaching out to local security companies and the management of nearby residential properties to be more vigilant.
