Atlanta Police Holding Recruiting Event Tuesday
Applicants should arrive at 8 a.m. and be prepared to stay for six hours to complete interviews and testing.

The Atlanta Police Department is hoping to bolster its ranks through a series of recruiting events held at the city’s public safety headquarters on Peachtree Street.
According to the department’s website, the next such recruiting event begins at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16. Applicants will be screened through a series of interviews and tests. The process should take around six hours. Applicants are urged to arrive early in professional dress, and with a valid Georgia drivers license in hand. Applicants must also have completed their online application prior to the event.
If you need additional time to complete the application, the department will hold additional recruiting events on Sept. 27 and Sept. 30.
