Atlanta Police Job Fair This Weekend

The Atlanta Police Department is looking to swell its ranks by hosting a job fair this weekend.

According to the department, the job fair will start at Saturday at 8 a.m. run approximately six hours. The fair will take place at the Public Safety Headquarters building located at 226 Peachtree St. The fair will include testing and interviews. Applicants should come dressed in business casual attire and must bring a government-issued photo ID card with them. Anyone who shows up late will not be allowed to participate.

Starting salaries for APD officers with bachelor’s degrees is $42,128.71, with insurance benefits provided. The department also officers housing stipends, tuition reimbursement, and leadership development programs.
