Atlanta Police Look for Dillard's Purse Shoplifters

The two suspects made off with approximately $4,500 worth of Michael Kors handbags late last month.

The Atlanta Police Department and Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta are asking for the public’s help in locating and arresting a group of shoplifters who walked out of an Atlantic Station store with roughly $4,500 of stolen handbags.

According to information provided by the department, an officer responded to Dillard’s in Atlantic Station at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 30. The officer spoke with Dillard’s loss prevention officer, who said that a black man and black woman were in the purse department stealing Michael Kors handbags. The pair walked past the checkout counters and exited the store on to 17th 1/2 Street.

The officer saw the pair exit the store and then enter a gray 2011 Toyota Yaris, which was being driven by a third person, a black man in his 20s. As the vehicle pulled away, the officer recorded a Georgia license plate number, PRF42221.
