Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard may indict an Atlanta police officer who struck and killed a pedestrian while driving his patrol car earlier this year.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Officer Christopher Blaise was behind the wheel of the police car which killed 62-year-old Bernard Moore on March 6.

Police initially said that Blaise was on his routine patrol route and contended that Moore was outside the Metropolitan Parkway crosswalk, but surveillance camera footage purportedly shows Blaise’s car traveling at an excessive rate of speed without any lights or sirens on.
An attorney for Moore’s family says the incident justifies an indictment for vehicular homicide.
