Atlanta Police Responding to Armed Robberies

Police told WSB-TV on Wednesday that they are making progress against a rash of armed robberies reported in northwest Atlanta.

According to the station, four armed robberies have been reported in the vicinity of Huff Road in the past two days; in one of the incidents, a group of four armed robbers allegedly attacked two people and forced them to remove their pants so the robbers could make off with their belongings.

A resident at an area apartment complex told WSB-TV that his car had been broken into and a friend had been robbed at gunpoint.

Atlanta police have made arrests in connections with the armed robberies, WSB-TV said.
