Atlanta Police Seek Benihana Attempted Armed Robbery Suspect: News Near Midtown
The suspect fled the downtown restaurant without getting any cash or valuables, police said.

Atlanta police are asking for the publicβs help to locate a person who allegedly tried to rob a restaurant in downtown Atlanta last month.

According to polie spokesman Gregory Lyon, the person walked into the Benihana at 229 Peachtree Center Ave. at approximately 11:50 p.m. on March 14, pointed a gun at a staff member, and demanded money. The person fled the scene without any money or belongings, Lyon said.
