Donie Rodriguez allegedly sent Georgia Underwriting Association a $4,800 invoice for a roofing job performed on a home on Scott Street by a company called Owens Roofing. WSB-TV reports that insurance investigators looked into the matter and discovered that Owens Roofing does not exist, and that the invoiced roof repairs never happened.
Still, a check was paid out to Rodriguez, and Georgia Underwriting Association’s clients, who are high-risk and low-income, may see their premiums increase to cover the cost of the fraud.

Fulton County jail records show that Rodriguez has yet to be picked up; police told WSB-TV that she skipped out after promising to surrender. She is wanted for fraud and forgery, the station says.
